On 3 October 2024, H.E. Ms. Lada Phumas, Ambassador of Thailand to Malaysia welcomed a courtesy call by H.E. Ms. Anne Vasara, Ambassador-designate of Finland to Malaysia, at the Embassy.

 

The two Ambassadors exchanged views and information on bilateral relations between Thailand – Finland, and current political and economic developments of both countries, votes of support in international organizations, as well as ways to enhance cooperation with the host country, particularly under Malaysia’s ASEAN Chairmanship in 2025. Ambassador Lada also touched upon the prospect of promoting cooperation in Bio-Circular-Green Economy Model, the concept which is of value to Finland, Thailand and Malaysia.

 

The meeting was cordial, and helped strengthen good relations between the two Ambassadors and embassies. Both sides are committed to forge closer cooperation with the host country, and be at one’s disposal to share thoughts and experiences, while working closely during their tenure in Malaysia.
