On 4 March 2026, H.E. Ms. Lada Phumas, Ambassador of Thailand to Malaysia, welcomed a delegation of executives, officials, programme administrators, and participants of the Executive Programme for Parliamentary Officers (Class 16) from the King Prajadhipok’s Institute (KPI), led by Mr. Nattapong Rodmee, Assistant Secretary-General of the KPI, at the Ambassador’s Residence, on the occasion of the delegation’s study visit to Malaysia from 1 - 4 March 2026.
The delegation paid a courtesy call on the Ambassador and received a briefing on the overview of Thailand - Malaysia relations. The Ambassador and Embassy officials provided comprehensive information on Thailand - Malaysia bilateral cooperation in the political, security, economic, and development dimensions, as well as collaboration within the ASEAN framework and inter-parliamentary engagement between the two countries. The delegation was also briefed on the roles and responsibilities of the Royal Thai Embassy and Team Thailand in Malaysia in advancing Thailand’s continued multi-dimensional foreign policy, proactive economic diplomacy, and people diplomacy.
On this occasion, the Ambassador hosted a luncheon in honour of the delegation. Participants engaged in constructive exchanges of views and knowledge, enhancing their understanding of Thailand - Malaysia bilateral relations and key developments beneficial to both countries and peoples. The delegation also expressed appreciation for the warm and cordial hospitality extended by the Royal Thai Embassy.
