On 23 November 2024, the President of the National Assembly and Speaker of the House of Representatives, attended the Honorary Doctorate Degree Ceremony and was conferredthe honorary degree byTuanku Muhriz IbniAlmarhum Tuanku Munawir, Yang Di-Pertuan Besar of Negeri Sembilan and dean of UKM. Tuanku Aishah Rohani, whereby TuankuAmpuan Besar of Negeri Sembilan and TunkuZain Al-'Abidin were also present. The Ambassador and Thai parliamentary delegation were also invited to the ceremony and the Royal Luncheon hosted by the Yang Di-Pertuan Besar of Negeri Sembilan.
 
On this occasion, Ybhg. Prof. Dr. Adbul Halim Abdul Gafor, Vice-Chancellor of UKM, on behalf of the university, hosted a congratulatory dinner for the President of the National Assembly and Speaker of the House of Representatives at Bangi Resort Hotel, Selangor. Also in attendance were professors from Princess of Naradhiwas University.
 
During this visit, the President of the National Assembly and Speaker of the House of Representatives hosted a dinner on 22 November 2024 for Thai entrepreneurs, students and Royal Thai Embassy’s staff, where he expressed his appreciation for being awarded the prestigious honorary degree in Islamic Studies from UKM, in recognition of his continuous efforts to advocate the Islamic studies in Thai educational institutions, while expressing belief that both education and religion are crucial elements in youth development, as well as reaffirming the intent to continue fostering educational cooperation between the Parliament of Thailand and Malaysia academic institutions. On this occasion, Mr. Adittha Buakhamsi, Minister-Counsellor, representing the Royal Thai Embassy, in congratulating the President of the National Assembly and Speaker of the House of Representatives, and highlighted the role of Thai community in Malaysia who play their parts in contributing to the cordial bilateral relations in various dimensions. Mr. Azman Taepoh, Counsellor (Consul), also participated in the cordial dinner.
 
On 24 November 2024, The Ambassador sent off the President of the National Assembly and Speaker of the House of Representatives and the delegation at Kuala Lumpur International Airport on their departure to Thailand.
