On 30 July 2025, H.E. Ms. Lada Phumas, Ambassador of Thailand to Malaysia, welcomed Air Chief Marshal Thaweesak Paowichan, Chief of the Commander’s Staff Group, Royal Thai Air Force, and his delegation on the occasion of their visit to the Office of the Air Attaché at the Royal Thai Embassy in Kuala Lumpur, from 30 July to 2 August 2025. Group Captain Warawoot Krasaetanont, Air Attaché and Assistant Defence Attaché, was also present.

 

The Ambassador held discussions and exchanged views with the delegation on the cooperation between the Thai and Malaysian armed forces, the role of the Royal Thai Air Force in the context of Thailand - Cambodia situation, regional and international geopolitical developments, as well as the important mission of the Office of the Air Attaché in strengthening close ties with relevant Malaysian security agencies.

 

The Ambassador reaffirmed the commitment of the Team Thailand in Malaysia to supporting the missions of the Thai armed forces and expressed appreciation to the Office of the Air Attaché for its excellent cooperation and continued support, which contributes to the smooth and effective functioning of the Royal Thai Embassy, as well as to the advancement of Thailand’s national interests and the well-being of the Thai people.
