On 24 November 2025, the Royal Thai Embassy in Kuala Lumpur, represented by Ms. Pinyada Reiniger, Counsellor, attended a Welcoming dinner reception hosted by the Malaysia Technical Cooperation Programme (MTCP), Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Malaysia, at the Kuala Lumpur Tower. The event was organised to welcome participants of the United Nations Institute for Training and Research (UNITAR) Training Programme in Peacemaking and Preventive Diplomacy for the Asia and Pacific Region Constructive Dialogue and Confidence Building, held from 24 to 28 November 2025 in Kuala Lumpur. Thailand was represented by Ms. Pornpimol Sugandhavanija, Minister of the Royal Thai Embassy in Madrid (currently on duty at the Office of the Permanent Secretary), and Ms. Jitlaeka Luenam, Counsellor, Peace, Security and Disarmament Division, Department of International Organizations, Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Thailand.
The Royal Thai Embassy supports MTCP’s role in strengthening human resource development in partner countries through training, knowledge sharing, and the fostering of collaborative networks among developing nations, in alignment with the mandate of the Thailand International Cooperation Agency (TICA), Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Thailand.
