On 24 July 2025, H.E. Ms. Lada Phumas, Ambassador of Thailand to Malaysia welcomed the Thai delegation participating and presenting academic papers at the 10th Scientific Meeting of the Asia-Pacific Menopause Federation (APMF), held in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, on 25 - 27 July 2025.

The delegation was led by Prof. Dr. Unnop Jaisamrarn, current President of the APMF, accompanied by Prof. Dr. Manee Rattanachaiyanont, President of the Thai Menopause Society, members of the Executive Committee and Advisors, as well as Prof. Emeritus Dr. Khunying Kobchitt Limpaphayom.

 

At the meeting, Thailand was selected as the host of the 11th APMF Scientific Meeting, to be held in July 2027 in Bangkok, representing Thailand’s proactive role in advancing midlife women’s health in the Asia-Pacific region. To mark the official handover of the host in 2027, the Thai delegation also showcased Thai cultural performances, namely; “Rak Thai” and “Chang Choo Thai”, which reflected the beauty and uniqueness of Thai art and culture.
