On 13 October 2025, Mr. Anan Pikultipsakorn, Minister, was assigned to represent the Royal Thai Embassy in Kuala Lumpur at the Opening Ceremony of the Malaysian Technical Cooperation Program (MTCP) Training Course on Industrial Electrical Wiring Installation (IEWI) at the Center for Instructor and Advanced Skill Training (CIAST) in Shah Alam, Selangor. The event was organized by CIAST under the Department of Skills Development (DSD), Ministry of Human Resources of Malaysia, with funding support from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Malaysia.
 
The training course has taken place on 12 - 29 October 2025. YBrs. Ts. Zuleah binti Darsong, Director-General of DSD, presided over the Opening Ceremony and gave the Opening Remarks. YBrs. Dr. Mohd Faizal bin Tokeran, Deputy Director of CIAST, was also in attendance.
 
On this occasion, the Minister met with 15 Thai scholarship trainees, comprising technical college teachers from 11 college in various provinces in Thailand and a representative from Yala Provincial Office, and provided introductory information during the trainees’ short stay in Malaysia.
 
The MTCP, established since 1980, aims to promote cooperation in technical education and vocational training with various countries. More than 26,000 participants from 139 countries have joined. The IEWI course is exclusively organized for Thailand, reflecting the close academic cooperation between Thailand and Malaysia. It is also the third MTCP course in 2025 specifically arranged for foreign scholarship recipients to receive specialized training.
