On 27 February 2026, the Royal Thai Embassy in Kuala Lumpur hosted the 3rd Thai Biz Get Together, led by Her Excellency Ms. Lada Phumas, Ambassador of Thailand to Malaysia, together with Mr. Phasit Chudabuddhi, Consul-General of Kota Bharu, as well as officials from Team Thailand in Malaysia. The Event welcomed 14 representatives from 9 Thai companies operating in Malaysia for a dinner discussion held at the Ambassador’s Residence.

 

The Ambassador highlighted that the Event, now in its 3rd consecutive year, aims to promote networking among Thai business community and Team Thailand in Malaysia, which aligns with Thailand’s “Multi-Dimensional Foreign Policy” and the “Results-Oriented Economic Diplomacy” (3Cs) to build confidence, enhance Thailand’s competitiveness, and promote collaboration and partnership in all regions, with both public and private sectors jointly playing a vital role in advancing Thailand’s interests overseas.

 

The Royal Thai Embassy, Team Thailand in Malaysia and the Thai business representatives exchanged views and shared useful insights on doing business in Malaysia, as well as discussed challenges facing the private sector amid geopolitical and geoeconomic uncertainties. The discussions were held in a constructive and dynamic atmosphere.

 

On this occasion, the Ambassador expressed appreciation to the Thai business community for its continued support for Team Thailand and reiterated the Royal Thai Embassy’s readiness to provide its ongoing support for Thai business in Malaysia, while acting as a bridge to connect Thai businesses among one another, and to protect Thais residing in Malaysia.
