On 24-25 July 2026, the Royal Thai Embassy in Kuala Lumpur, through its Consular Section, organized the 5th Mobile Consular Services for the fiscal year 2026 at the Renaissance Hotel, Johor Bahru, Johor. More than 70 Thai volunteers and Thai nationals residing in Johor Bahru and nearby areas benefited from consular services, including passport services, national identity card services, document legalization, and consultations on consular matters.

On 24 July 2026, the Embassy delegation, led by Ms. Sutthathip Klamthawee, Second Secretary, visited Thai inmates at Kluang Prison in Johor. The delegation inquired about their general living conditions, health, welfare, safety, and communication with their families, and provided advice on their rights and relevant legal matters. The delegation also held discussions with representatives of the prison, led by TPP Muhammad Saifulah Bin Adnan, Deputy Superintendent of Prisons, to seek continued support in ensuring the appropriate welfare of Thai inmates.

On 25 July 2026, the Embassy delegation, together with Thai volunteers and Thai nationals who visited the Mobile Consular Services, wholeheartedly joined in meticulously crafting beautiful sandalwood flowers for the Royal Cremation Ceremony of Her Majesty Queen Sirikit the Queen Mother, to be held in December this year, as a symbol of mourning, reverence, and loyalty to the monarchy. The activity also provided Thai nationals visiting the Consular Section with an opportunity to participate in this meritorious act and to express the unity and solidarity of the Thai community.

This consular mission reflects the Embassy's unwavering commitment to safeguarding, protecting, and providing comprehensive assistance to Thai nationals abroad, while further strengthening its close cooperation with local authorities to ensure the well-being and best interests of Thai citizens residing in or traveling to Malaysia.
