***ATTENTION***

*Document indicating current location is evidence to verify your current stay in Malaysia. Kindly submit one of the following documents as evidence:

  • Entry stamp on your passport showing your arrival in Malaysia (if you passed through the auto gate, please attach the boarding pass and Malaysian Digital Arrival Card (MDAC) to confirm) 

  • Malaysian Pass for those working, studying, being dependent, or a spouse to Malaysian citizens.
    For the E-Malaysian Pass, a photocopy must be certified by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (Wisma Putra) before applying to the embassy. (mandatory)

  • Permanent Resident Card for permanent residents of Malaysia.

  • IC Malaysia (Identity Card) for Malaysian citizens.

*The applicant may be required to submit additional documents as follows: 
For general employment: 

1. A cover letter from the employer addressed to the Royal Thai Embassy mentioning the applicant’s name, position, salary, employment period, and visa type.
2. A copy of company’s registration/business license issued from Department of Business Development with registered capital of at least
THB 2 million.
3. A copy of the company's list of shareholders.

**Nigerian nationals must attach the original clearance certificate issued by Nigeria’s National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) or the Letter of Good Conduct issued by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Malaysia .

***If the applicant not submitting all listed documents or submitted a screenshot or unclear file, he/she will get a request for more documents, which will delay the Visa processing time

*** The Royal Thai Embassy reserves the right to reject any visa application if the reasons given are not fully supported and the visa fee is non-refundable.

*** Additional documents may be required as deemed necessary by the Royal Thai Embassy.

***All supporting materials that are issued outside of Thailand and Malaysia must be accompanied by certified English translations and notarized by an Embassy or Ministry of Foreign Affairs only***
