Non-Immigrant Single-Entry: This visa is valid for 3 months from the date of issuance. Applicants must enter Thailand within the said 3-month period.

The length of stay in Thailand is up to 90 days from the date of entry. The applicant must apply for a visa extension at the Immigration Bureau within this 90-day period after arrival.

The applicants are advised to request a visa, at least 15 working days before the intended date of travel, by filling in the information and upload all required documents online at https://www.thaievisa.go.th/ (Please note that the visa application fee is non-refundable)

*Document indicating current location
is evidence to verify your current stay in Malaysia, you are required to submit one of the following documents as evidence:

  • Entry Stamp on your passport showing your arrival in Malaysia (if you passed through the auto gate, please attach the boarding pass and Malaysian Digital Arrival Card (MDAC) to confirm) 

  • Malaysian Visa (for those working, studying, or as a spouse of a Malaysian citizen)
    For the E-Malaysian Pass, a photocopy must be certified by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (Wisma Putra) before applying to the embassy. (mandatory)

  • Permanent Resident Card for permanent residents of Malaysia

  • IC Malaysia (Identity Card) for Malaysian citizens

***If the applicant does not submit all listed documents or submits a screenshot or unclear file, he/she will get a request for more documents which will delay the Visa processing time

*** The Royal Thai Embassy reserves the right to reject any visa application if the reasons given are not fully supported and the visa fee is non-refundable.

*** Additional documents may be required as deemed necessary by the Royal Thai Embassy.

***All supporting materials that are issued outside of Thailand and Malaysia must be accompanied by certified English translations and notarized by an Embassy or Ministry of Foreign Affairs only***
