– A copy of the permanent resident in Malaysia (PR card) or a copy of a valid Malaysian visa (at least 3 months validity). For the E-Malaysian Pass, a photocopy must be certified by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (Wisma Putra) before applying to the embassy. (mandatory)

– Proof of being employed or a student in Malaysia e.g., the employment letter from the company, the certificate of student status from the institute, business license/registration if self-business, or a copy of MM2H registration. The letter must mention the applicant’s name, position and dates of visiting Thailand. ***Please note that the acceptance or job offer is not sufficient***

For self-employed, business license or business registration indicating the applicant’s name.

*** The Royal Thai Embassy reserves the right to reject any visa application if the reasons given are not fully supported and the visa fee is non-refundable.
