The applicants are advised to request a visa at least 15 working days before the intended date of travel, by filling in the information and uploading all required documents online at https://www.thaievisa.go.th/ (Please note that the visa application fee is non-refundable)

Required documents to upload in the system (Large and clear JPEG or PDF format):

1. Category “TS” To travel in transit through the Kingdom of Thailand in order to proceed to the country of destination or to re-enter his/her own country. Travellers who wish to transit at the international airports in Thailand in less than 12 hours, only in the transit area at the airport, do not need to obtain a visa.

2. Category “C” The person in charge or crew of a conveyance coming to a port, station, or area in the Kingdom.

3. Category “S” To participate in sports activities (sportsmen, sportswomen, etc.)

IMPORTANT:

*For Nigerian citizens, the original Clearance Certificate issued by Nigeria’s National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) or the Letter of Good Conduct issued by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Malaysia must be attached.

 

** If the applicant not submitting all listed documents or submitted a screenshot or unclear file, he/she will get a request for more documents, which will delay the visa processing time.

*** Additional documents may be required as deemed necessary by the Royal Thai Embassy.

 

***All supporting materials that are issued outside of Thailand and Malaysia must be accompanied by certified English translations and notarized by an embassy or Ministry of Foreign Affairs only.

 

*** The Royal Thai Embassy reserves the right to reject any visa application if the reasons given are not fully supported, and the visa fee is non-refundable.
