เมื่อวันที่ ๙ กันยายน ๒๕๕๗ สถานเอกอัครราชทูต ณ กรุงกัวลาลัมเปอร์ ได้ร่วมกับกระทรวงการท่องเที่ยวและวัฒนธรรมมาเลเซีย และกระทรวงวัฒนธรรมไทย จัดงานแสดงดนตรีเชื่อมสัมพันธ์ไทย-มาเลเซีย โดยนำวงดนตรีดุริยางค์บางกอกโปรมูซิกา อำนวยเพลงโดยพลเรือเอกหม่อมหลวงอัศนี ปราโมช องคมนตรีและศิลปินแห่งชาติ มาบรรเลงเพลงพระราชนิพนธ์ในพระบาทสมเด็จพระเจ้าอยู่หัว จำนวน ๑๖ บทเพลง ที่หอประชุมศาลาว่าการกรุงกัวลาลัมเปอร์ โดยมีผู้แทนคณะทูตานุทูต ข้าราชการระดับสูงของมาเลเซีย อาทิ ปลัดกระทรวงการท่องเที่ยวและวัฒนธรรมมาเลเซีย และนายกเทศมนตรีกรุงกัวลาลัมเปอร์ ผู้แทนจากภาคประชาสังคม ผู้อำนวยเพลงวงดุริยางค์ซิมโฟนีแห่งชาติมาเลเซีย นักธุรกิจชั้นนำ รวมถึงนักศึกษาและประชาชนทั่วไปในมาเลเซียเข้าชมรวมกว่า ๓๕๐ คน โดยนอกเหนือจากการได้รับฟังบทเพลงอันไพเราะอันจะเป็นการเสริมสร้างความสัมพันธ์ทางวัฒนธรรมระหว่างชาวไทยกับชาวมาเลเซียแล้ว ผู้เข้าชมยังได้มีโอกาสชมนิทรรศการเกี่ยวกับพระอัจฉริยภาพทางดนตรีและพระราชกรณียกิจในพระบาทสมเด็จพระเจ้าอยู่หัวอีกด้วย
On 9 September 2014, the Royal Thai Embassy, in collaboration with the Ministry of Tourism and Culture Malaysia and the Ministry of Culture of Thailand, co-hosted "A Concert of Royal Compositions" performed by the Bangkok Pro Musica Orchestra under the baton of Admiral Mom Luang Usni Pramoj, Privy Councillor and National Artist of Thailand, which featured a selection of 16 pieces of His Majesty King Bhumibol Adulyadej's royal musical compositions. The event was attended by some 350 people, including members of the Diplomatic Corps, senior government officials such as Datuk Dr. Ong Hong Peng, Secretary-General of the Ministry of Tourism and Culture Malaysia, Datuk Seri Ahmad Phesal Taib, Lord Mayor of Kuala Lumpur, conductor of the National Symphony Orchestra of Malaysia and members of the civil societies, as well as students and members of the general public. Apart from enjoying 16 selected pieces of the royal music, which were performed with an aim to strengthen friendship between the peoples of Thailand and Malaysia, participants also had opportunities to visit an exhibition about the musical talent and other works of His Majesty King Bhumbol Adulyadej.
