The Royal Thai Embassy in Kuala Lumpur participated in the online royal audience with Her Royal Highness Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn, on the occasion of the 5th Princess Maha Chakri Award Ceremony in Bangkok

On 17 October 2023, 10.00 hrs., Her Excellency Ms. Lada Phumas, Ambassador of Thailand to Malaysia, led 60 officials from the Royal Thai Embassy, Team Thailand, and representatives of Thai community in Malaysia to participate in the online royal audience with Her Royal Highness Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn at the Royal Thai Embassy in Kuala Lumpur, on the occasion of the 5th Princess Maha Chakri Award Ceremony in Bangkok.

The conferment of the Princess Maha Chakri Award (PMCA) takes place every two years, and since 2015 the Award has been given to outstanding teachers from 11 countries (Thailand, Singapore, Malaysia, Viet Nam, the Philippines, Indonesia, Lao PDR, Cambodia, Brunei, and Timor-Leste).

The Royal Thai Embassy would like to extend a heartfelt congratulations to Mr. Saifulnizan bin Che Ismail, a teacher from SK Raja Bahar, Kota Bharu, Kelantan, who is the 2023 Malaysian PMCA Recipient. The Royal Thai Embassy would also like to congratulate the 10 other countries recipients on receiving the prestigious Princess Maha Chakri Award.
