On 21 January 2017, at 18.30 hrs, H.E. Mr. Narong Sasitorn, Ambassador of Thailand to Malaysia, presided over the reception on the occasion of the Royal Thai Armed Forces Day 2019 at Pullman Kuala Lumpur City Centre Hotel. Lt Gen Datuk Hasagaya Abdullah, Malaysian Army Deputy Chief, graced the occasion as Guest of Honour. There were more than 200 distinguished guests comprising the ambassadors or representatives of ASEAN member countries, military attachés, officers of Malaysian Armed Forces, Thai nationals residing in Malaysia and Malaysians joining the event.
