On 17 July 2025, H.E. Ms. Lada Phumas, Ambassador of Thailand to Malaysia was invited to attend Business Networking Dinner 2025, organized by the National Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Malaysia (NCCIM) at The St. Regis Hotel, Kuala Lumpur. Invited guests from diplomatic, foreign and domestic trade partners, together with senior government officials of Malaysia were well received by Dato’ Seri N. Gobalakrishnan, President of NCCIM, Tan Sri Soh Thian Lai, President of the Federation of Malaysian Manufacturing (FMM), etc., having Tan Sri Datuk Seri Panglima Bernard Giluk Dompok, Chairman of SME Corporation Malaysia as guest of honour and delivered remarks.
 
NCCIM Business Networking Dinner 2025 was held in conjunction with the National Economic Forum 2025 (NEF) under the theme “Turning Strategy into Reality: Institutional Delivery, Economic Resilience & Investor Confidence”, as a platform for exchanging Malaysia’s economic reforms, strategic investment facilitation, and institutional strengthening, all key pillars to drive Malaysia’s journey towards inclusive and sustainable growth.
 
The Thai Ambassador’s participation in the NCCIM Business Networking Dinner reflected the Royal Thai Embassy’s appreciation to Malaysian business and trade partners in advancing Thailand-Malaysia bilateral trade to 30 billion USD by 2027. The Embassy will continue its strong support to both Thai and Malaysian businesses alike, which have played important roles in strengthening Thailand-Malaysia relations
