On 13 November 2025, H.E. Ms. Lada Phumas, Ambassador of Thailand to Malaysia, together with members of the foreign diplomatic corps, was invited to attend the Opening Ceremony of the 3rd Sustainability Environment Asia (SEA) 2025, organised by the Malaysian Water Association (MWA) and Derrisen Sdn Bhd on12 -14 November 2025 at the Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre (KLCC).

 

The Opening Ceremony was presided over by YAB Dato’ Sri Haji Fadillah bin Haji Yusof, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Energy Transition and Water Transformation. The Deputy Prime Minister reiterated Malaysia’s advancements, including its implementation of the 2030 Sustainable Development Agenda, progress toward achieving the 2025 Renewable Energy Target, as well as the milestones accomplished during Malaysia’s ASEAN Chairmanship in 2025.

 

On this occasion, the Ambassador discussed Thailand - Malaysia bilateral cooperation with the Deputy Prime Minister, particularly the recent development in exchanges of high-level visits between the two countries. The Ambassador also visited the exhibition on sustainability and environment.
