Ambassador welcomed Secretary-General of the National Security Council (NSC) and Head of Peace Dialogue Panel for the Southern Border Provinces

On 10 November 2025, H.E. Ms. Lada Phumas, Ambassador of Thailand to Malaysia, welcomed Mr. Chatchai Bangchuad, Secretary-General of the National Security Council (NSC), General Somsak Rungsita, Head of Peace Dialogue Panel for the Southern Border Provinces, and his delegation, during their working visit to Malaysia on 10 - 11 November 2025. Colonel Artit Pikulthong, Defence and Army Attaché, Mr. Chatchawan Worrakajohnwirat, Minister Counsellor, Ms. Tarinee Limchularattana, Minister Counsellor (Labour), and Police Lieutenant Colonel Masnu Jehsatam, Counsellor (Police Liaison) were also present.
 
On this occasion, the Ambassador hosted a dinner for the delegation, where both sides exchanged information on Thai - Malaysian cooperation in the areas of security and border management, as well as economic development between the two countries, particularly in southern Thailand and northern Malaysia. They also discussed the situation in Thailand’s Southern Border Provinces, especially Malaysia’s perspectives and possible approaches to further promoting cooperation.
 
The Ambassador reaffirmed the commitment to supporting the missions of the NSC and the Peace Dialogue Panel, and the Royal Thai Embassy and Team Thailand will continue to actively coordinate with security agencies of both Thailand and Malaysia to safeguard the interests of Thailand and Thai people.
