On 18 May 2023, Miss Lada Phumas, Ambassador of Thailand to Malaysia called on H.E. Vanu Gopala Menon, Singapore High Commissioner to Malaysia at Singapore High Commission.

H.E. Vanu congratulated and welcomed H.E. Lada on her assumption of duty as Ambassador of Thailand to Malaysia. The two ambassadors exchanged information and views on Thailand’s political development and general election, Malaysia's foreign policy and state elections, Track 1.5 and Track II cooperation, infrastructure connectivity projects, health issue, as well as issues of mutual interest such as cooperation in the ASEAN framework and Indo-Pacific strategy.
