On 12 September 2025, H.E. Ms. Lada Phumas, Ambassador of Thailand to Malaysia, hosted a luncheon in honour of H.E. Datuk Wan Zaidi bin Wan Abdullah, Ambassador-Designate of Malaysia to Thailand, at Malai Thai Cuisine, Kuala Lumpur, on the occasion of the Ambassador-Designate of Malaysia’s upcoming assignment in Thailand.

 

Ambassador Lada congratulated the Ambassador-Designate of Malaysia on having been granted a royal audience with His Majesty Sultan Ibrahim, King of Malaysia, on 4 September 2025 to receive the Letters of Credence appointing him as the Ambassador of Malaysia to Thailand. Both sides expressed their readiness to actively support each other in promoting the mutual interests of the peoples of the two countries and in strengthening Thailand - Malaysia relations.

 

His Excellency Datuk Wan Zaidi bin Wan Abdullah served as the Ambassador of Malaysia to Saudi Arabia before being appointed as the Ambassador of Malaysia to Thailand.
