On 15 March 2024, H.E. Ms. Lada Phumas, Ambassador of Thailand to Malaysia hosted a high tea for head of diplomatic missions in Malaysia at the Thai residence, including H.E. Danielle Heinecke, Australian High Commissioner-Designate, H.E. Orla Tunney, Ambassador of Ireland, H.E. Maria Angela A. Ponce, Ambassador-designate of the Republic of the Philippines, H.E. Joana Veneranda Amaral, Ambassador of Timor-Leste and H.E. Ailsa Terry, British High Commissioner. Various topics and useful information were exchanged among the ambassadors such as bilateral relations with Malaysia, promotion of cooperation with relevant sectors of the host country, as well as regional and international issues, particularly the outcome of ASEAN – Australia Special Summit in Melbourne during 4 – 6 March 2024, and good cooperation between diplomatic missions in Malaysia.

 

The meeting was held in a cordial and casual atmosphere whereby the Thai ambassador proudly presented Thai Canapés with authentic flavors and modern presentation which impressed the invited guests. On this occasion, the ambassadors also joined sports activity at the Royal Thai Embassy's lawn to further strengthen their bonds of friendship.
