On 25 March 2021, H.E. Mr. Chainarong Keratiyutwong, Ambassador of the Kingdom of Thailand to Malaysia attended a "Meet and Greet" Session with YB Dato' Seri Hishammuddin Tun Hussein, Foreign Minister of Malaysia, at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs with 9 other new Foreign Heads of Missions. Various issues were exchanged including potential areas of bilateral cooperation with Malaysia. The 10 Heads of Missions also provided the Minister on the updates of COVID-19 situation and measures in tackling the pandemic in their respective countries.
