On 20 August 2024, H.E. Ms. Lada Phumas, Ambassador of Thailand to Malaysia, along with foreign Ambassadors and High Commissioners in Kuala Lumpur, was invited to the opening session of the 6th International Sustainable Energy Summit (ISES) 2024, organised by the Sustainable Energy Development Authority (SEDA), in collaboration with the Ministry of Energy Transition and Water Transformation (PETRA) at Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre. The Summit was officiated by YAB Dato’ Sri Haji Fadillah bin Haji Yusof, Deputy Prime Minister of Malaysia and Minister of Energy Transition and Water Transformation.

 

The participants were informed of background of SEDA and ISES, as a biennial platform for knowledge-sharing and business interactions on sustainable energy. Strategies and relevant policies of the government of Malaysia in leading the country towards a carbon-neutral nation through innovation in energy transition were also highlighted. There are more than 5,000 participants from different stakeholders as well as more than 20 partners who have registered to join the 2-day event between 20 to 21 August 2024, under the theme “Accelerating Energy Transition Through Innovation” of the 6th ISES 2024.
