On 21 September 2025, H.E. Ms. Lada Phumas, Ambassador of Thailand to Malaysia, was invited to preside over the Opening Ceremony of “TSS The Super Series by B-Quik” Event 4/2025 organised by Racing Spirit Co., Ltd. in collaboration with the Ministry of Youth and Sports of Malaysia during 19 - 21 September 2025 at PETRONAS Sepang International Circuit, Selangor. The Ceremony was attended by Mr. Sontaya Kunplome, President of TSS The Super Series; Mr. Prutirat R. Serireongrith, President of the Royal Automobile Association of Thailand under Royal Patronage; Mr. Preeda Tantemsapya, Vice President of TSS the Super Series; Mr. Azhan Shafriman Hanif, Chief Executive Officer of the PETRONAS Sepang International Circuit; representative of Team Thailand in Kuala Lumpur, racers, distinguished guests, and over 500 spectators.

 

In her opening remarks, Ambassador Lada congratulated the close collaboration between Thai private sector and the Ministry of Youth and Sports of Malaysia which exemplified the growing synergy between Thailand and Malaysia, while emphasising that hosting the Event at the world-class circuit is the testament to Thai private sector’s capability in elevating Thailand’s motorsport industry to regional and global stage. The Ambassador also reaffirmed Thailand’s readiness to become a rising hub for international sporting events, equipped with the infrastructure, expertise and professionalism to host world-class competitions across disciplines, while looking forward to Thailand’s hosting of the Formula 1 Grand Prix in Bangkok in the near future. On this occasion, the Ambassador invited racers and spectators to visit Thailand under the “Amazing Thailand Grand Tourism and Sports Year 2025” campaign, especially during TSS The Super Series Event 5/2025 which will take place from 31 October - 2 November 2025 at the Chang Circuit Buriram.

 

Following the Opening Ceremony, Ambassador Lada led Team Thailand in Kuala Lumpur to watch TSS Supercar GT3/GTM Race 8. The results saw Mr. Vutthikorn Inthraphuvasak from AAS Motorsport By EBM secure victory in the GT3 class, while Mr. Saravut Sereethoranakul from PSC Motorsport claimed the championship title in the GTM class.
