On 10 February 2025, H.E. Ms. Lada Phumas, Ambassador of Thailand to Malaysia, officiated the Amazing Thailand Road Show to Malaysia 2025 at Hilton Hotel, Kuala Lumpur. The Roadshow was organised by Tourism Authority of Thailand (Kuala Lumpur Office), as a tourism business networking platform, whereby over 200 Thai and Malaysian tourism industry players participated.

 

The Ambassador welcomed the participants and reiterated the Royal Thai Government’s readiness to promote Thailand’s tourism throughout 2025. The recently launched “Amazing Thailand Grand Tourism and Sports Year 2025” on 3 February 2025, by H.E. Ms. Paetongtarn Shinawatra, Prime Minister of Thailand, echoed Thailand’s positioning as leader in ASEAN’s tourism landscape and its role in driving regional tourism growth. The Ambassador thanked Mrs. Phimpha Ratanapruk, Deputy Executive, Director of South Asia and South Pacific Division, for bringing Thai entrepreneurs to join the event and commended TAT (Kuala Lumpur Office), led by Mrs. Sirinthara Surakanitaya, Director, for the active work in promoting Thailand’s tourism in Malaysia.
