On 24 July 2025, H.E Ms. Lada Phumas, Ambassador of Thailand to Malaysia received a courtesy call by executives from the PTTEP Malaysia Asset and Carigali PTTEPI Operating Company Sdn. Bhd. (CPOC), led by Mr. Padsakorn Suwanruji, Country Manager of PTTEP Malaysia Asset, who took the opportunity to introduce Mr. Nathawut Sattayakhunnasakul, Senior Manager of CPOC, upon his assumption of duties.

 

Both sides engaged in a constructive exchange of information on recent operational developments of PTTEP Malaysia and CPOC in Malaysia, the Government of Malaysia’s energy transition policies, such as the energy mix and investment in Carbon Capture and Storage (CCS) technology, as well as enhancing cooperation on energy with regional partnership.

 

The Royal Thai Embassy, PTTEP Malaysia Asset, and CPOC have maintained a cordial relationship through various opportunities and activities. The Embassy reaffirms its commitment to continue its support for Thai private sector and to enhance energy security between Thailand and Malaysia.
