The Ambassador then presented the ceremonial robes to the monks in dedication to Her Majesty, followed by the monks’ recitation of the customary funeral chants. Officials of Team Thailand in Malaysia and a representative of the Thai community in Malaysia presented offerings of alms set to the monks. Following the monks’ benediction, the Ambassador performed the traditional water-pouring ritual to dedicate merit to Her Majesty.
