On 21 August 2026, the Royal Thai Embassy in Kuala Lumpur led youths from SBPs who had previously participated in training programmes organized by the Devawongse Varopakarn Institute of Foreign Affairs (DVIFA), Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Thailand, together with Thai students in Malaysia, on a study visit to Kompleks Kraf Kuala Lumpur. The visit provided participants with an opportunity to learn about approaches to preserving and further developing local handicrafts, creating added value for community products, and promoting cultural tourism. The activity aimed to inspire participants to apply the knowledge and ideas gained to the development of their communities, create job opportunities, and further develop local wisdom and cultural heritage in ways that generate lasting value and sustainability.

During 22 - 23 August 2026, the Royal Thai Embassy and the Thai Students Association in Malaysia (TSAM) led participating youths from SBPs and Thai Students in Malaysia to Pahang to take part in a series of activities designed to strengthen leadership skills, including: (1) Team Building Activity through Simulation Exercises; (2) Volunteer Activity, in which participants prepared and distributed Thai desserts to members of the community in Janda Baik, Pahang; (3) Leadership Workshop, featuring simulated scenarios in which participants took on leadership roles in developing and presenting projects aimed at supporting Thai students in Malaysia; and (4) Special Lecture on “Leaders of Change: Turning Potential into Community Development”, delivered by Mr. Jikhaideel Chelaeh, a renowned online content creator and YouTuber of the popular Deen Vlog channel, which has more than 5 million followers. The session provided participants with knowledge, inspiration, and practical leadership skills, particularly in strategic thinking and effective communication, to become effective leaders that capable of driving meaningful development in their communities.

Following the completion of TSAM Leadership Camp 2026, Mr. Jirayoot Lethongkham, First Secretary, and Ms. Nisa Sata, Staff of the Centre for Thai Students in Malaysia at the Royal Thai Embassy, attended the 2nd TSAM General Meeting of 2026 to review the past activities organized by the 14th TSAM Committee (current committee) led by Mr. Muhammadnawawee Marudin, President of TSAM 14th Executive Committee. The Embassy commended the TSAM Executive Committee for its active and dedicated efforts, which contributed significantly to the successful implementation of activities in collaboration with the Royal Thai Embassy. The collaboration generated valuable benefits for both the project organizers and participants. As well as, congratulated Mr. Alawee Panyoosoh on his election as President of the 15th TSAM Executive Committee at the said meeting.
