On 25 January 2024, H.E. Ms. Lada Phumas, Ambassador of Thailand to Malaysia together with Team Thailand in Malaysia welcomed the Thai business representatives in Malaysia, who joined the first Thai Biz Get Together Dinner at the Thai Ambassador’s Residence.

 

Ambassador Lada addressed the event’s objectives, which are to connect the Embassy and Team Thailand in Malaysia with Thai businesses in Malaysia, in line with the Royal Thai Government’s Team Thailand Plus policy, whereby the public and private sectors collectively promote Thailand’s interests overseas, as well as to connect Thai businesses in Malaysia among one another responding to the Government’s Proactive Economic Diplomacy policy.

 

The Embassy, Team Thailand in Malaysia and the Thai businesses representatives discussed and exchanged useful information related to doing business in Malaysia. The meeting was productive and vibrant.

 

Ambassador Lada reiterated the Embassy’s readiness to provide its continued support for Thai businesses in Malaysia, while acting as a bridge to connect Thai businesses among one another, and to protect Thais living in Malaysia.
