On 29 May 2025, H.E. Ms. Lada Phumas, Ambassador of Thailand to Malaysia, was invited by the National Research Council of Thailand (NRCT) to visit the booths showcasing research, inventions, and innovations by Thai researchers and inventors at the 36th International Invention, Innovation and Technology Exhibition (ITEX 2025) at the Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre (KLCC), Kuala Lumpur. The ITEX 2025 was organised by the Malaysian Invention and Design Society (MINDS) and C.I.S. Network. The Ambassador received a warm welcome by Dr. Wiparat De-Ong, Executive Director of NRCT and delegation.

 

The Ambassador commended the NRCT for supporting the participation and exhibition of 107 Thai research, inventions and innovations, consisting of 56 entries from Thai researchers and inventors and 51 entries from students and teachers. Over 400 Thai participants attended the event, which serves as an excellent opportunity for knowledge exchange, global exposure, and technical collaboration, particularly for the younger generation. In addition, this platform offers a chance to further develop research projects toward commercialization.

 

The Royal Thai Embassy invites all those interested to visit the Thai exhibition booths and support Thai researchers, inventors, students, and teachers at the ITEX 2025, held from 29 – 31 May 2025, at Exhibition Hall 2 and 4 , KLCC, Kuala Lumpur.
