On 18 January 2024, H.E. Ms. Lada Phumas, Ambassador of Thailand to Malaysia welcomed H.E. Mr. Irfan Shakir oglu Davudov, Ambassador of Azerbaijan to Thailand with residence in Kuala Lumpur at the Embassy.

 

Ambassador Lada was pleased to learn of the productive working visit of H.E. Ambassador Irfan Shakir oglu Davudov to Thailand during 18 - 21 December 2023. She commended the visit further enhanced Thailand - Azerbaijan’s relations, particularly in the economic areas including trade and investment and tourism, in line with the Royal Thai Government’s Proactive Economic Diplomacy policy.

 

H.E. Ambassador Irfan Shakir oglu Davudov thanked the Thai side for the hospitality during his recent visit to Thailand and expressed Azerbaijan’s eagerness to increase both sides’ cooperation. In this occasion, he handed over a Note from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Azerbaijan to Ambassador Lada, with an aim to increase and forge both sides’ closer cooperation.
